More snow yesterday. It snowed all day. So what do I feel like doing when it snows? Baking cookies! This went into the oven:
And this came out:
mmmmmmmmm! Yummy peanut butter cookies! Something about a snowy day makes me want to bake.
I also got some knitting done on the beret. It's slow going. Sock yarn on small needles = slow knitting. But the yarn is so so so gorgeous, I don't mind. Here's my progress:
I've got about 2 1/2 inches done so far, I've got about 2 more inches to go then I can start decreasing. Today is a good day to sit and knit. This is the yarn I'm using and I'm still in love with it:

yummo!!! Those cookies look fabulous!! I love your new jammies... makes me want to take up sewing.
cute! Okay I am going to look in your last post but do you use a pattern for the jammie bottoms? I want to make some for the girls and I and I don't need a pattern as I don't use them right, I just like the instructions....if that makes any sense.
Okay off to sew some sheers for Chickens room, pics to come later!
thanks! I looked it up and it is a different pattern number now. I think I may wing it and see what happens. I will let you know how it turns out. Off to alter the curtains more!
I need to try...ya hear me TRY.....to make some jammie bottoms. Are they too easy? Could someone with sewing ADD make them? Would you offer technical assistance?
:-)
Mmm, cookies! I LOVE peanut butter!
The beret yarn is gorgeous and I can't wait to see the finished hat.
As for what I'm working on, I'm sort of in an awkward between-projects phase. I'm about to start on a lacy bolero thing, but for a more portable project I think I'm going to start some mittens & bring them to Panera tomorrow. I hope I see you there, it's been a long time!
hmm those cookies look yum. i always bake in cold weather too :)
